Maintaining optimal oral health is essential for every patient and is only possible with regular dental visits. If you are experiencing any gum disease symptoms, tooth pain, or have inflammation of the gums, you must come in for an oral evaluation as soon as possible. Dr. Ariana will put together a custom treatment plan to help you achieve and maintain optimal oral health.
Healthy smiles begin at a young age so it’s important that we instill good oral care habits in our younger patients whenever possible. Dr. Ariana recommends that when your child is 2 years old, they begin seeing a dentist. We encourage preventive care measures for our younger patients and will work to keep your child’s teeth healthy with regular cleanings, sealant treatment, fluoride treatments, and mouth guards. We may also use laser therapy to treat some patients.
We use the Biostim Laser to treat TMJ symptoms effectively. The Biostim Laser is a non-invasive treatment option for managing the pain and discomfort associated with TMJ. If you are experiencing symptoms of TMJ, Dr. Ariana may use trigger point therapy and the Biostim Laser to provide some relief.
We are here for you in the event of a dental emergency. If you have knocked out a permanent tooth, cracked a tooth, or are experiencing severe tooth pain, contact us immediately for an emergency visit. We can accommodate most emergencies the same day and are here to help you in every way we can.
We use the VELscope during an oral pathology exam to detect any problematic lesions or other issues in the oral cavity and pharynx.
When the pulp layer of the tooth becomes infected, you are at risk for losing that tooth permanently. We can perform a root canal to preserve the tooth and ensure the infection doesn’t spread to other areas of the mouth.
A Frenectomy may be necessary when a fold of tissue or a muscle that connects the lips, cheek, or tongue to the jawbone is contributing to oral health problems. This procedure is typically performed under local anesthesia in the office or under general anesthesia in a hospital setting.
It is recommended that patients visit our Mississauga dentist every 6 months for a check-up and cleaning for optimal oral health maintenance. The check-up portion is performed to make sure you’re not experiencing any oral health issues that you may not be aware of, and the cleaning portion is necessary in order to remove stubborn bacterial deposits from your teeth.
Has it been a while since you’ve last been in to see a professional? Your smile depends on you to book that visit!
We hope to see your smile soon!
